My Background

I am an American photographer based in Seattle, Washington. I am a visual story teller specializing in  Documentary Photography.

I also work with with individual clients and small businesses for lifestyle, corporate, wedding & event photography in a photo journalistic style.

I have a BFA in Commercial Photography from The Art Institute of Seattle and an AA in Graphic Design, Advertising Art and Illustration from the Art Center Design College in Tucson, AZ.

I have worked as the Assistant Art Director for GEO & Associates Advertising Agency and Precision Shooting Equipment, both located in Tucson, Arizona.

Cordial Photos is a Disabled Veteran Owned and Operated Small Business. I served in the U.S. Army Special Operations and Special Forces for ten years, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with my Special Forces Group. I bring my experiences, training and traveling the world with the Army and as a freelance photographer into my photography. My oldest son has been proudly serving in the U.S. Army for the past eight years.

Sharing Stories

Cordial Photos is my freelance, visual story telling, documentary photography business. I photograph the news, events, cultures and people around the world to share those stories with you.  

My photos have been featured in publications such as Groove Magazine, Deagu Pockets, Daegu Compass, The Humphrey's Happenings and several Korean Travel magazines and featured in the US Army Korea's book DMZ to the Sea. I have been published on Seattle's King 5 News, Kiro 7 news and QFox 13 news online sites.
